Art Essence Gallery was established in 1992 in downtown Painesville, Ohio, as a place for local artists to show and sell their work. At the cooperative gallery at 184 E. Main Street, Painesville, Ohio, members and other area artists and craft persons can meet to discuss art and their crafts.

The gallery has sponsored an annual outdoor festival, Art in the Park, in August and participated in other local and civic events over the years. Members are available for private and group instruction, demonstrations and workshops.

Commissioned pieces are available.

The Annual Holiday Show will be up from Nov. 21 through Jan. 12.

Unfortunately, Art essence Gallery be closing its doors on January 12th, 2008. Come say good-bye to member artists and other who helped make the gallery what it is on the 12th from 10am until the last revelers stagger home.
